at first i was afraid, the shadow of the solo banyan tree leaf swaying omniously, the Chinese migrant workers appearing from behind seemingly; following my every step, the loud rolling thunder, inability to hear over the cliched pitter-patter of rain and the lucridious amount of shapeless people awake and walking around at the same time.
but i grew to savour the wind which made me shiver, but also made it possible for the rain to pelt me harder.rain- unappreciated; people run to avoid it, as i do but i took the chance this time to bury the hatchet, embrace it. i never knew the taste was so much better than our treated tap water; and free too!stretched my length-challeged tongue out to catch a few drops.
rain; my version, adapted for about 30mins,blogger time.
